
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.Supervise work-study students, as needed, to accomplish position objectives.Support development of Collaboratory annual financial report.Support site team training and travel logistics planning.Develop and maintain a clearinghouse of Collaboratory-related project data, including project team rosters, alumni, project managers, volunteer mentors, partners, and team budgets.Contribute to regular activities/workshops that equip, train, and affirm the work of project managers, student project managers, and project volunteers.Contribute to the Collaboratory Christian Discipleship program to build a community of students, staff, and volunteers who are equipped and inspired to accomplish the mission of the Collaboratory.Facilitate Symposium involvement of Engineering projects.Provide training to student leaders and advisors in administrative and financial best practices.Oversee the recruitment, vetting, orientation, and involvement of professionals volunteering in the program.Develop appropriate and timely expressions of gratitude to volunteers, investors, and other stakeholders.Manage logistics related to team performance evaluation, including workflow/document management and meeting scheduling.Organize, monitor and contribute to communication that brings volunteers, projects, and funding to the Collaboratory.Engage alumni, partners, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders in ongoing activities of the Collaboratory.Support organizational marketing and public relations.Support a positive team culture that engages all members of the team to fulfill Collaboratory core values, creating a culture of innovation.The program manager supports program-wide marketing and communication efforts and office logistics necessary for program implementation. The program manager will coordinate day-to-day operations of the Collaboratory, an organization within the Department of Engineering that seeks to educate students while meeting the needs of under-served communities. The department particularly seeks individuals capable of inspiring others in mission, sparking innovation, relating to our international partner communities, and encouraging collaboration across disciplines to solve technical problems that require holistic solutions, particularly those encountered in missions and humanitarian environments. Skills, Characteristics Required for Position The department values experience in organizational leadership, ministry/missions, or the engineering field. Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Development or related fields preferred.
